Gorilla Species are rarely found and in the all World, Africa is the only continent endowed with these great Apes. If not, its one of the main reasons for most of the ultimate African Wildlife Safaris. There are mainly found in different parts of Africa for many reasons.

If your interest is meeting face to face with these apes, then you should see your way to the Western, central and Eastern part of Africa. Most travelers prefer, the Central and Eastern part of Africa for variety of Gorilla species.
On a visit to the Eastern and Central part, in only three countries namely Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo, you find both the species of Mountain and Lowland Gorillas.
These three countries all inhabit the species of Mountain Gorillas and then for the Lowland Gorillas are only found in Democratic Republic of Congo.
If its Uganda, Mountain Gorillas are found in two National Parks namely Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. These Parks are both located in the South western part of Uganda.
Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills has one National Park to see Mountain Gorillas and this is Volcanoes National Park. Then Democratic Republic of Congo has two National Park for Gorillas, whereby Virunga National Park is home to the Mountain Gorillas and Kahuzi Biega National Park inhabits the species of Lowland Gorillas.
